What is the meaning of the evil eye?

The evil eye is an ancient superstition or curse brought upon by someone’s malicious and envious glare. The ancient superstition dates back to 6th century BC Greece but has since spread across much of the Middle, South East Asia and parts of Eastern Europe. it’s very common in both Jewish and Muslim cultures. It’s also believed that wearing an evil eye as an amulet helps in protecting against the evil eye curse. Today, we appreciate the beauty of evil eye charms, and every culture’s take on them.
