Alum stone is obtained from alum crystals which are directly extracted from natural alunite quarries. Najel proposes it polished, in a small plastic box, ideal for carrying even when still wet. The alum stone, whose astringent properties neutralize perspiration and prevent the development of bacteria responsible for bad odors, makes an excellent natural deodorant. Hypoallergenic and odorless, it can be used on a daily basis, sightly moistened and applied directly to skin. Its lifetime of about one year is equivalent to the period of use of ten traditional deodorants.
